I freaking love Halloween, and watching spooky movies. This is a place for me to keep a little record of what my family and I (mostly I) did, watched, and listened to each Halloween.

Matt's notes on Susperia:

My first Giallo movie, and it made a huge impression! I love this one. Plus, a classic soundtrack by Goblin.

Matt's notes on Alien:

It's crazy this was made in 1979. There's only two shots that don't look amazing: the ship explosion, and the full body alien at the end. Otherwise everything looks absolutely incredible, and it's genuinely scary.

Matt's notes on Shaun of the Dead:

An instant classic as both a comedy and a horror movie.

Matt's notes on Candyman:

Scared the crap out of me when I was a kid and saw a clip from the movie. So cool, and love a Chicago movie.
